Adele Riha

Adele E. Riha, age 92, was called home to heaven by our Lord Jesus early Saturday morning, July 10, 2021. She has now received the blessed promise of our Savior. She was currently a resident of Laurel Grove Assisted Living in Manitowoc.

Adele was born in Two Rivers on October 16, 1928 to Henry C. and Grace Schmidt. She was a graduate of Washington High School in Two Rivers with the class of 1946. On June 5, 1954, she was united in marriage to Donald Riha at St. John's Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on July 6, 1972. For many years, the couple owned & operated a Standard Station in Two Rivers. She also worked as a bookkeeper at the former R&G Dodge of Two Rivers. Adele was a lifelong member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Two Rivers.

Survivors include several nieces & nephews, along with great-nieces & nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Grace Schmidt; her husband, Donald; and one sister & two brothers-in-law: Mildred (Harvey) Glaser, and Paul Riha.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 15, 2021 at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th Street, Two Rivers. Rev. David Arndt will officiate at the service, with burial to follow in Pioneer Rest Cemetery, Two Rivers.

The family will greet relatives and friends at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels Thursday morning after 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
