Alan W. Luchterhand, age 81, of Two Rivers, died on Tuesday morning, June 13, 2023, at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.
Alan was born on July 24, 1941, in Two Rivers, son of the late William and Marcella (Donchek) Luchterhand. He graduated from Washington High School with the Class of 1960 and then served in the U.S. Army. On April 20, 1968, he married Darlene Hoffmann at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Algoma. Al was a press operator for many years at Mirro Aluminum Co. He enjoyed bowling, playing cribbage, watching sports on TV, western movies and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife: Darlene Luchterhand of Two Rivers; son: Craig Luchterhand of Two Rivers; daughter: Cheri (Chris) Hagenow-Bos of Mishicot; five grandchildren: Devin Hagenow, Abbey Bos, Logan Bos, Derick (Hope) Hagenow and Dannon Hewitt; and seven great grandchildren. He is further survived by his sister: Judi Huempfner of Minnesota; and two sisters-in-law: Audrey Tebon of Algoma and Kim Hogenson of Minnesota; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters: Ruth (Gerald) Usitalo and Elaine (Frank) Chovanec; brother-in-law: Richard Huempfner and his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Elmer and Eva Hoffmann.
In respect of Alan’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
