Amanda (Mandy) Lee Reetz, age 42, passed away peacefully in a hospital in Clearwater, Florida on July 9th, 2021 after a courageous battle with liver and kidney disease, with her father by her loving side.
Amanda was born in Manitowoc on April 5, 1979 to Joel E. Reetz and Mary Jo (Torp) Van Domelen. She graduated from Roncalli High School, then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. Amanda loved to travel and traveled through Europe and most of the United States. She lived 4 years in Hawaii and finally settled down in the State of Florida. She discovered Key West and resided there for 10 years, then moved to Clearwater, Florida where she fell in love with the blue ocean and white sands of Indian Rocks Beach, and she knew she was home.
Amanda worked in a variety of different jobs, from customer service to translating German to English for various companies.
She is survived by her father, Joel E. Reetz and step-mother, Sheralee Reetz; her mother, Mary Jo (Torp) Van Domelen and Jim Van Domelen; three step-sisters: Mandy Sue, Alexys, and Megan; three step-brothers: Andy, Dane, and Rob; her grandmother, Darlene Torp; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by grandparents: Jerry and Leona Reetz, and Bob Torp; two uncles, Harry and Randy; and her cousin, Tara Marie Reetz.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at St. Clare's Catholic Church - Greenleaf Site, 2218 Day Street, Greenleaf, WI on Saturday, September 11th, 2021. Visitation will be held from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m. with a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
