Barbara J. Havlinek, age 74, formerly of Two Rivers, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at her apartment in Chilton, Wisconsin.

Barb was born in Two Rivers on August 15, 1950 to Bernard W. and Bernice M. (Kappelmann) Sinkula. She attended St. Luke's Catholic School and graduated from Washington High School with the class of 1970. On June 7, 1973, she married Arthur Havlinek at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Two Rivers. Arthur preceded her in death August 22, 1978. Over the years, Barb worked at the Two Rivers Community Hospital, Lighthouse Inn, and the Deli at Pick'n Save. She currently worked at the New Hope Center of Chilton. Barb enjoyed the time spent with her family, especially going out for Steak Dinners and Old Fashioned Cocktails. She also enjoyed collecting "stuff". She was an avid Cubs fan; But truly an absolute, die-hard Wisconsin Badger Fan!

She is survived by her daughter, Marie McVey (fiance, Rudy) of Manitowoc; her grandchildren: Amiah (Dylan), Regan (Dawson), and Talan. She is further survived by her brothers and a sister: Dennis (Mary) Sinkula of Shalimar, Florida, Jane Sweetman of Port Washington, Tom (Deanne) Sinkula, of Two Rivers, Jeffrey (Debbie) Sinkula of Green Bay, Craig Sinkula of Two Rivers, Brian (Cathy) Sinkula of Windermere, Florida, and Bruce (Tammy) Sinkula of Kronenwetter, Wisconsin; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Bernie and Bernice Sinkula; her husband, Arthur Havlinek; one daughter, Rebecca Havlinek; one nephew, Jeffrey Sweetman; father & mother-in-law, Frank and Theresa Havlinek; and a sister-in-law & two brothers-in-law: Peter Sweetman, Richard Havlinek, and Darlene (Auggie) Becker.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 28, 2025 at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th Street, Two Rivers. Rev. Dave Pleier will preside at the service, with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

The family will greet relatives and friends at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Monday morning from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. There will be no Sunday evening visitation.
