Bonita M. "Bonnie" Vanne

Bonita M. “Bonnie” Vanne, age 81, of Two Rivers, died Monday afternoon, October 23, 2023, with her family at her side, at the Northland Lodge, Two Rivers.
Bonnie was born on March 10, 1942, in Rhinelander, a daughter of the late Edwin and Bernice (Stensrud) Scheidegger. She moved to Two Rivers for her senior year of high school, graduating from Washington High School in 1960. In June of 1973, she married Robert Vanne at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. Bonnie was a Certified Nurses Assistant with Home Care and also at Shady Lane. She was a member of St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir. Bonnie loved to bake, cook, have her family over and visit her kids and grandkids when they were camping. She was also a “Meals on Wheels” volunteer.
Survivors include her husband: Bob Vanne; two sons: Robert (Amanda) Kozaczuk and Brian (Candy) Vanne, all of Two Rivers; daughter: Beth (Kraig) Koehler of Francis Creek; grandkids: Jeff, Keith, Sylvia, Sam, Brianna, Baleigh, Steven and Jordan; and great grandkids: LaKoda, Brielle, Laytyn, Malaina, Addyson, Kehlani and Theo. She is further survived by two sisters: Carol Richardson of Rhinelander and Susan (Butch) Reif of Darboy; brother-in-law: Jim (Lois) Vanne and sisters-in-law: Diane (Bob) Lawler and Joanie Hanes, along with nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter: Pattie Ann Kozaczuk.
A memorial service, officiated by the Rev. David Arndt, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St., Two Rivers. Burial will take place at a later date at Knollwood Memorial Park, Hwy 310, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. There will be no Friday evening visitation.
