Carol Ronning

Carol L. Ronning, age 94, a resident of the Village of Mishicot since 1978, passed away early Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Meadow View Assisted Living of Two Rivers.

Carol was born December 31, 1928 to John and Celia Schneider Petrack.  She married Jack G. Ronning August 28, 1954 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Ashland, WI.  He preceded her in death November 3, 2006.  Carol was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mishicot and a member of the Altar Society of the church.

She is survived by one sister, Marian Jarecki of Ashland; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  In addition to her parents and her husband, Jack, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Sandra Barkei;  two brothers: Jerome Petrack, and Emeran (Shirley) Petrack; and by a brother-in law, John Jarecki.

Relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 27, 2023 at the Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home in Mishicot.  There will be a parish prayer service at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home led by Fr. Christian Raj O’Praem.  Visitation will continue after 11:00 a.m. on WEDNESDAY MARCH 1, 2023 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Ashland, WI.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. WEDNESDAY at the Church with the Rev. Jerome D’Souza officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in St. Agnes Church Cemetery, Ashland.
