Catherine A. Vogel

Catherine A. Vogel, age 56, of Two Rivers, died early Thursday morning, September 28, 2023, at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice, Sheboygan Falls.
Catherine was born on August 31, 1967, in Two Rivers, a daughter of the late Conrad and Betty (Hartway) Vogel. Cathy attended Washington High School in Two Rivers and was employed with Dowco and Redline Plastics for many years. She raised chickens and loved them as pets, giving each chicken a special name and her love for animals led her to open her home to stray cats and dogs that were in need. Cathy enjoyed gardening, canning and embroidery.
Survivors include her two sons and a daughter-in-law: Joshua and Katie Vogel and Don Loucks, all of Two Rivers; two grandchildren: Leyla and Myles Vogel; sister and brother-in-law: Linda and Dave Heili of Manitowoc; brother and sister-in-law: David and Shelley Vogel of Two Rivers; and her nephews and niece: Daniel Heili (fiancé’, Lindsey), Patrick (Stephanie) Heili, McKenna Vogel (fiancé’, Colby) and Kaeden Vogel; along with other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by her fiancé’, Brian Defere.
According to Cathy’s wishes, private family services were held.
Memorials in Cathy’s name may be made to the Lakeshore Humane Society, 1551 N 8th St., Manitowoc, Wis., 54220 or charity of the donor’s choice.
Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St., Two Rivers, assisted the family with arrangements.
