Daniel J. Magill

Daniel J. Magill, age 61, of Two Rivers, died unexpectedly, Sunday, November 26, 2023, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay.
Dan was born in Two Rivers, Wis., on February 25, 1962, to the late Guy and Jean (Manson) Magill, Jr. He graduated from Washington High School with the Class of 1981. Following high school Dan fulfilled his commitment to the U.S. Army Reserves by reporting for basic training. He served for 24 years with the 377th Maintenance Company of Manitowoc, he served in Operation Enduring Freedom in 2002 and 2003. Dan was employed at Jagemann Plating Co. for over 40 years, starting in the production area, before his transfer to the maintenance department.
Dan met Tammy Schepper in 1988, when they both were working at Jagemann’s, they were united in marriage on September 6, 1997, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Dan enjoyed hunting, was able to fix almost anything, he also enjoyed his daily coffee, mountain dew and glazers, watched remodeling shows on tv and was a member of West Shore Sportsman Club.
Survivors include his wife Tammy Magill; two brothers: Guy Magill III of Two Rivers and Mark Magill of Florida; mother-in-law: Shirley Schepper of Two Rivers; sisters-in-law: Diann Drossart of Manitowoc, Jennifer and David Meunier and Melissa and Jason Buda, all of Two Rivers; godson: Chris Meunier; fur baby: Kita; along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother: John Magill; father-in-law: Thomas “Tom” Schepper and many previous cats.
A memorial visitation for Dan will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St., Two Rivers.
Military honors will be accorded by members of American Legion Post #165 and V.F.W. Post #1248 of Two Rivers immediately following the visitation.

Dan’s family extends a special thank you to the Two Rivers Fire Dept. Paramedics, the staff at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers and the staff of the Critical Care Unit at St. Vincent Hospital for the wonderful care Dan received and the compassion and concern shown to Tammy and her family.
