Daniel Nehring

Daniel F. Nehring, age 69, longtime Town of Gibson resident, died Saturday, December 16, 2023 at River's Bend Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Daniel was born in Two Rivers on April 24, 1954 to Norman and Josephine (Kowalski) Nehring. Danny attended Riverview School in Manitowoc and worked at Holiday House for many years. He enjoyed crab fishing, fantasy fishing, bowling, and loved watching TV, especially Western Shows.

He is survived by his mother, Josie Nehring; two brothers, Thomas Nehring, and Ronald (Deanna) Nehring, all of Mishicot; one sister, Sally (Joe) Jilot of Sturgeon Bay; nieces & nephews include: Hannah Nehring, Amanda (Brent) Otis, Lucas (Marie) Nehring, Julian Nehring, Steve (Brittany) Jilot, David Jilot, Brittany (Dylan) Schneider, Heather Tenniente, A.J. Kopidlansky, and Wade Gephart Brooks; two uncles; and special friends & caregivers, Kristi and Tara. He was preceded in death by his father, Norman H. Nehring.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 13, 2024 at St. Isidore the Farmer Catholic Church in Tisch Mills. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Dennis Drury. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the church Saturday morning from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m.
