Dave Denk

David L. Denk, age 69 of Two Rivers, died unexpectedly Monday, March 14, 2022 at his residence of natural causes.

Dave was born in Manitowoc on September 30, 1952 to LeRoy and LaVerne (Pelishek) Denk. He was a 1970 graduate of Roncalli High School, then furthered his studies at St. Norbert College in DePere. On June 22, 1984, he was united in marriage to Mona M. Moser at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Two Rivers. Dave worked for a short time at Hamilton Industries in Two Rivers before joining his parents in the family business, Denk Floor Covering. He worked side by side with his father in the floor covering business for many years, eventually taking the business over with his wife, Mona until their retirement. Dave enjoyed hockey, music, and watching all sports; and was a member of several golf and bowling leagues. He loved cooking for his family (especially making his Hearty Italian Chili), and treasured the time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Mona; his three children: Andrew, Timothy, and Marika Denk; his parents, LeRoy and LaVerne Denk; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ralph and Rose Moser.

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th Street, Two Rivers. Rev. Dave Pleier will preside at the service.

The family will greet relatives and friends at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Saturday afternoon from 1:15 until 2:30 p.m.
