David J. Capraro, age 67, current resident of Mishicot, died peacefully with his wife by his side on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at the Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay.
Dave was born in Two Rivers on October 10, 1957 to Paul W. and Elizabeth "Betty" (Williquette) Capraro. He attended Two Rivers Public Schools, graduating with the class of 1976 from Washington High School. Dave worked at numerous factories in Two Rivers before moving to Montana in 1985. As a member of the Montana Laborer's Union and also the Wisconsin Laborer's Union, he worked at various Nuclear Power Plants and Power Plant Outages. He also worked on Oil Refinery Outages, and owned & operated "Dave's Fireworks LLC" for 30 years. Dave married the former Julie (DeWitt) Kutil on January 4, 2005.
Dave was a die-hard Green Bay Packer fan and longtime season ticket holder; an avid hunter; and enjoyed racing motocross, and fishing. Above all, he loved the time spent with his grandchildren, always enjoying playing games and being with them.
Survivors include his wife, Julie; his step-children: Robert (Karen) Kutil, Rebecca (James) Frenz, and Brett Kutil (special friend, Shawna); along with his grandchildren: Kiana, Kylia, Wyatt, and Emma. He is further survived by a niece, Kaylee (Michael) Gresl); two sisters-in-law: Jolene Mauer, and Vicki (Chris) Suettinger; god-child, Krissy Miller; and cousins: Michael (Debbie) Williquette, and Kay (Todd) Hillner. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, William Capraro; his step-mother, Arlene Petrashek Capraro; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Luke and Bernice DeWitt.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no funeral services held. Burial will take place next to his brother Bill in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
