Dennis R. "Max" Maxam

Dennis R. “Max” Maxam, age 74, of Two Rivers, died Saturday morning, April 22, 2023, at the Hamilton Home, Two Rivers.

Dennis was born on July 9, 1948, in Freedom, Wis., a son of the late Percy and Helen (Habeck) Maxam. Dennis was a graduate of Freedom High School. Max was an avid Packer and Nascar fan, enjoyed gardening, building, spending time with his grandchildren and being outside.

Survivors include his children: Dan (Elaine) Maxam of Phoenix, Ariz., Bill (Simone) Maxam of Casa Grande, Ariz., Brent Maxam (Brittany) of Dale, Wis., Virginia (David) Sippel of Two Rivers, Wis., Carrie Brown of Phoenix, Ariz., and Jenny (Robert) Hardin of Avondale, Ariz.; twenty two grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. He is further survived by one brother and four sisters: Dale (Mary) Maxam of Appleton, Wis., Judy Peterson of Upson, Wis., Joyce Berg of Appleton, Wis., Janice Hanson of Howards Grove, Wis., and Connie (Bill) Morgando of Riverside, Calif.; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter: Tina Warren; a sister: Donna Schnabel; and three brothers-in-law: Dan Berg, John Hanson and Tom Peterson.

In accordance with Dennis’ wishes, cremation will take place.

A celebration of Dennis’ life will be held at Bar None & Grill, 3025 WI 310, Two Rivers, on Saturday, July 8, 2023, from 12:00 Noon until 4:00 p.m.
