Donna Rae Peroutka, age 78, of Clarks Mills, died unexpectedly, on Sunday night, August 13, 2023, at home.
Donna was born on August 10, 1945, in Racine, daughter of the late Henry and Alice (Naidl) Praeger. She moved to Two Rivers as a baby, attended St. Luke’s Catholic Grade School and graduated from Washington High School with the Class of 1963. On November 9, 1963, she married Clyde E. Peroutka at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, Clyde preceded her in death on October 1, 2018. Donna and Clyde enjoyed almost 55 years of marriage. Donna was a secretary most of her career, working at Hamiltons and Mirro, and retired from the Metal Ware Co. She loved to travel, draw, read, do crossword and jigsaw puzzles and was a supporter of the Capitol Civic Centre and the Wisconsin Maritime Museum.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law: Keith and Sharon Peroutka of Two Rivers; daughter and son-in-law: Robin and Anthony Boldt of Manitowoc and grandson: Tony (Zues) Becker of Elm Grove. She is further survived by her in-laws: Malcolm Peroutka, Allan and Barbara Peroutka, Dale and Marlene Peroutka, Renee Peroutka, Carol and Vince Cicha, Karen and Jim Parry and Corrine McGrath; friends: Sue (Erv), Janet (Ron) and Bonnie; great neighbors who have helped so much over the years since Clyde passed away: Bob and Jeanne, John and Kristen, Paul and Julie and Roger; along with other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a sister-in-law: Kay Peroutka and a brother-in-law: Donald Peroutka.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 21, 2023, at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St., Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Richard Klingeisen with entombment to follow in Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Hwy. 310, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Monday, August 21, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. There will be no Sunday evening visitation.
