Dorothy M. Langman

Dorothy M. Langman, age 92, longtime resident of Two Rivers, went peacefully home to the Lord early Thursday morning, May 26, 2022.

Dorothy was born in Two Rivers on June 17, 1929 to Edward and Leona (Hogan) Kracht. She married Kenneth N. Langman on July 24, 1948 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. He preceded her in death January 16, 2008. In addition to raising her family, Dorothy worked at Mirro Aluminum for several years, the Carron Net Company, Schwartz Mfg. Company, and part-time at the M&M Lunch. She was a former member of the church choir and the Ladies Aide of St. John's Church, and also participated in Bible Study. Dorothy enjoyed playing the guitar as a young girl and into her retirement years. She played her guitar live on WOMT with three of her friends for a weekly entertainment program, and often provided entertainment for residents of area nursing homes along with two of her friends.

She is survived by her three sons & daughters-in-law: Richard and Linda Langman of Two Rivers, Kenton and Donna Langman of Manitowoc, John and Mindy Langman of Two Rivers; her grandchildren: Scott (Pam) Langman, Kyle Langman, Kari (Joe) Lulloff, Greg (Amanda) Langman, Owen (Faith) Langman, Brad (Kayla) Langman, Amanda (Zach) Cvikel, Paul Jung, Hillary (Collin) Chase, and John Jung; seventeen great-grandchildren; and five great great-grandchildren. She is further survived by one brother, Herbert "Jim" Bruseth and fiance, Kathy Theiss of Francis Creek; four sisters-in-law: Patricia (Chuck) Weber of California, Linda (Tom) Thiede of Colorado, Nancy (Hollis) Ruggles of Sheboygan, Cheri (Jay) See of Crivitz; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Leona Kracht; her husband, Kenneth; and siblings: Elizabeth Kracht, Donald (Lois) Kracht, Evelyn (Robert) Schindler, and Patricia (Dennis) Hauch.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3607 45th Street, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Stephen Kruschel, with burial to follow in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. John's Lutheran Church Tuesday morning from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. There will be no Monday evening visitation.
