Edna J. Laurin

Edna J. Laurin, age 90, former Two Rivers resident, died peacefully Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Birch Hill Nursing Home in Shawano, WI.

Edna was born in England on September 2, 1933 to Gus and Daisy Thompson. On August 7, 1954, she married Russel R. Laurin in England. After settling in Two Rivers to raise their family, Edna also worked for Hamilton Industries for many years until retiring. Russel preceded her in death on February 13, 2010. Amongst many enjoyments, Edna especially enjoyed crocheting, taking walks, hiking, camping, and playing disc golf. She also treasured the time spent with her family.

She is survived by her children: Russel (Ann Marie) Laurin, Jr., Raymond Laurin, Rowland (Pamela) Laurin, Roger Laurin, Melissa (Virgil) LaFlash, and Roxanne Laurin; 15 grandchildren: Ashley, Justin, Heather, William, Seth, Billy (Jennifer), Stefanie, Jazzmin, Roger Jr. (Kristen), Joseph, Eric (Danielle), Curtis (Raven), Travis, Ryan (Savanna), and Jared; along with 18 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by one sister, Carol Rose; brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law: Leon (Mary) Laurin, John (Darlene) Laurin, and Pat Laurin; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russel; one son, Randolph Laurin; an infant daughter, Rochelle; one grandson, Matthew Laurin; four sisters, three brothers, and many brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Mishicot VFW on Saturday, April 6th at 2:00 p.m. Entombment will take place at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Hwy. 310, Manitowoc.
