Eileen M. Taddy Jansma

Eileen M. Taddy Jansma, age 92, of Two Rivers, died Thursday morning, September 23, 2021, at Meadow View Assisted Living of Two Rivers.
Eileen was born on November 15, 1928, in Two Creeks, a daughter of the late Werner and Mabel (Stoer) Schmoock. She graduated from Washington High School with the Class of 1946 and then attended Manitowoc County Normal School. On June 1, 1949, she married Joseph Taddy in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on March 19, 1997. Eileen enjoyed sewing, singing in the choir at church, playing sheepshead and traveling.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Dennis and Lea Taddy of Arizona and Jeffrey and Sally Taddy of Cary, Ill.; three daughters and two sons-in-law: Janice and Ray Hansen of Two Rivers, Sandy Lee and Sally and CW “Mac” McElyea, all of Arizona; her grandchildren: Meredith (Peter) Rogers, Tamara (Michael) Young, Kimberly Wood, Kyle (Kelli) Taddy, Eric (Jamie) Hansen, Jill (Jesse) Vanne, Rachel (Patrick) Sifuentes and Susan Taddy; and 15 great grandchildren. She is further survived by a sister: Nancy Duthey, along with nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Joseph, she was also preceded in death by two brothers: Dale and Paul Schmoock; two brothers-in-law: Stanley Parkos and Richard Duthey; her in-laws: Edna (Chester, Sr.) Thiede, Jerome (Agnes) Taddy, Norbert (Pearl “Buggs”) Taddy, Aloysius Taddy, Archie (Virginia) Taddy, Bernice (George) Wichlacz, Lorraine Hoffman, Leonard (Alice) Taddy, Elaine (Daniel) Lorrigan, Grace (Richard) Villers and Dorothy (Leonard) Reindl and her second husband: Marinus “Erwin” Jansma.
A memorial service, officiated by Rev. Keith Tullberg, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 8, 2022, at Our Savior Ev. Lutheran Church, 2140 34th St., Two Rivers. The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Friday from 12:00 Noon until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.
