Elaine E. Kutil

Elaine E. Kutil, age 92, longtime resident of Two Rivers, died peacefully early Wednesday morning, March 27, 2024 at the Northland Lodge in Two Rivers.

Elaine was born on April 10, 1931 in Taus, WI to Frank and Anna (Muench) Oswald. On April 22, 1950, she married Robert Q. Kutil at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Kellnersville. Robert preceded her in death on May 29, 1984.

Elaine worked as a waitress for over 50 years at various Supper Clubs / Restaurants. In her most recent years, she was employed with the Lighthouse Inn in Two Rivers until retiring. In her retirement, she loved to take rides around the countryside; play cards (especially with her Tuesday Ladies Sheepshead Group); and she loved to sew. She also enjoyed quilting, playing dartball, bowling, and was a huge Brewer fan. Elaine was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Parish and the Ladies of St. Peter the Fisherman.

Survivors include her five children: Daniel Kutil of Two Rivers, Juliann (David) Dwyer of Pennsylvania, Gregg Kutil (special friend, Vickie House) of Two Rivers, Lisa (Dick) Klein of Hortonville, Tina (Andy) Vogt of Arkansas; daughter-in-law, Mary Kutil of  Wausau; 11 grandchildren: Kelli Remiker, Cody Kutil (special friend, Audrey), Bobby (Karen) Kutil, Becca (James) Frenz, Brett Kutil (special friend, Shauna), Clare Kutil (special friend, Justin Knode), Rachel Kutil, Alex Klein, Ashley Klein, Nicole Vogt, Eric Vogt; and eight great grandchildren: Alexis, Khloe, Carter, Wyatt, Emma, Easton, Levi, and Noah. She is further survived by three sisters-in-law, Virginia Oswald, Jean Kutil, and Elaine McAdams; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Anna Oswald; her husband, Robert; one son, William Kutil; brothers & sisters: Cletus (Bernice) Oswald, Verna (George) Shavlik, Beatrice (Ray) Kostechka, Sylvan Oswald, Eugene (Marge) Oswald; father & mother-in-law, Joseph and Esther Kutil; special friend, John Benthien; and in-laws: Betty Oswald, Roland Kutil, and Jim McAdams.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 1, 2024 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd., Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Dave Pleier, with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Monday morning from 9:00 until 10:15 a.m. There will be no Sunday evening visitation.
