Elaine L. Novak

Elaine L. Novak, age 98, resident of Manitowoc, died Sunday, January 23, 2022 at the Aurora Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa, WI

Elaine was born on February 26, 1923 in Denmark, Wisconsin to Rudolph and Edna (Hansen) Novak. She attended schools in Denmark and Brillion, graduating from Brillion High School in 1941. Elaine worked for many years at Western Union Telegraph Company (Green Bay Office); she also worked for Color Craft Printers and Family Service Associates. She was a longtime, active member of First Reformed United Church of Christ in Manitowoc; and member of the Manitowoc Senior Center.

Elaine is survived by one niece, Jean (Wayne) Machut of Two Rivers; two nephews: Dr. Jan R. (Tana) Weber of North Carolina, and Jay (Bettyann) Weber of Arizona; along with several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudy and Edna Novak; two sisters & a brother-in-law: Geraldine and Joe Weber; and Joyce Novak.

In keeping with Elaine's wishes, No services will be held. Cremation has taken place.

Burial will take place at a later date at the Danish West (Lutheran) Cemetery in Denmark, Wisconsin.
