Elaine M. Specht

Elaine M. Specht, age 74, of 709 Lowell St., Two Rivers, died Tuesday night, March 30, 2021, at Aurora BayCare Medical Center, Green Bay.
Elaine was born on September 19, 1946, in Wausau, a daughter of the late Arvin and Anna (Wilk) Sieg. She graduated from D.C. Everest High School in 1964 and in 2008 earned her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from LTC. On March 19, 1983, she married Robert J. Specht at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on January 11, 2020. Elaine worked at Tiny Treasures Day Care as a teacher for many years. She enjoyed camping with her family, had a strong faith, enjoyed taking care of family and friends and especially kids and most recently enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include her son: Paul Specht of Manitowoc; her daughter and son-in-law: Kari and Evan Crawford of Abrams; and her grandson: Jack Crawford. She is further survived by her sister: Marjorie Boggs of Wausau: two brothers-in-law: Fritz (Mary) Specht of Two Rivers and Richard (Kathy) Specht of Mishicot; and a sister-in-law: Cynthia Specht of Sheboygan; along with nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her sister: Joyce (Wally) Grulkowski and her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Paul and Ladonia (Plautz) Specht.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 5, 2021, at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3607 45th St., Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Stephen Kruschel with burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Hwy 310, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church on Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. There will be no Sunday evening visitation. Social distancing guidelines will be followed.
