Felicia T. Springstube

Felicia T. Springstube, age 64, resident of the town of Gibson, died unexpectedly Friday afternoon, August 25, 2023 at the Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers.

Felicia was born in Manitowoc on April 26, 1959 to Florian and Sophia (Alkonis) Glischinski. She attended St. Paul's Catholic grade school, Washington Junior High, and graduated with the class of 1977 from Lincoln High School. She married Gary Springstube on April 26th, 1980.

Felicia worked for several years at Mirro/Foley in Manitowoc and for the past 35 years was employed with Weyerhaeuser/International Paper until her retirement last year. She served as secretary/treasurer for the Women of Steel Union workers for many years; she was an honorary life-member of the Larrabee Sportsman Club; and she loved to read. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her two children: Brian Springstube, town of Gibson, and Sarah Springstube (fiance, Jerry) of Denmark; two grandsons: Caleb Dose and Connor Stubblefield. She is further survived by one brother & sister-in-law, Joe and Karen Glischinski of Two Rivers; one sister, Mary Glischinski of Manitowoc; one niece and nephew: Joseph Glischinski and Donna Glischinski; and cousins: Pat and Robbie Mayer. Felicia was preceded in death by her parents, Florian and Sophia Glischinski, and the father of her children, Gary Springstube.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home, 344 S. State Street, Mishicot, Thursday evening, August 31st, from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 1st at the funeral home.

Visitation will also precede the service Friday morning from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m.

Burial will follow in Knollwood Memorial Park, Hwy. 310, Manitowoc.
