Florence F. Wondrash, age 94, longtime resident of Mishicot, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.
Florence was born in Bellevue, WI on May 29, 1930 to Lawrence and Josephine (Kolanchek) Micoliczyk. She married Donald C. Wondrash June 14th, 1952 at St. James Catholic Church in Cooperstown. The couple was blessed with 58 years of marriage and two children. Donald preceded her in death on December 9, 2010. Florence was retired from Mirro Aluminum Company where she worked for 43 1/2 years. She enjoyed gardening and baking for her family and friends, especially canning many jars of beets and peaches. She also enjoyed cookie baking, and making squash pie and apple pies. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Patrick and Sandy Wondrash of Francis Creek; her daughter & son-in-law, Donna and Jim Seefeldt of Appleton; her grandchildren: Travis (Jenna) Wondrash, Lindsay (Casey) Pederson, Mindy (Travis) Christensen; and six great-grandchildren: Mason, Taylor, Piper, Connor, Abbey, and Quentin; along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Josephine Micoliczyk; husband, Donald Wondrash; a granddaughter, Missy Seefeldt; and her brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mishicot. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Christian Raj with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
The family will greet relatives and friends at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Tuesday morning from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. There will be no Monday evening visitation.
