Gary M. “Digger” Pointon, age 66, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday morning, March 13, 2025 at his home. He was born in England to Roy and Pearl (Hollis) Pointon on February 26, 1959.
Digger was united in marriage to Lauri Ringgenberg on January 14, 2019 in Milwaukee. Digger worked for many years as a Semi Truck Driver until his retirement. As a kid, he was a member of the Young Farmers Club. In his free time he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, watching black and white westerns, he especially loved John Wayne. He also had a love for football and could tell you everything about each team and their players. Digger enjoyed spending time with his wife, his family and their two dogs.
He is survived by his wife, Lauri; his children: Lucy (Paul) Smukalla, Raechel (Chad) Mays, Samantha Pointon, Roy Pointon; his step-children: Kris (Autumn) Kirkland, Sondra Kirkland, Haley (Mike) Tupper, Megan (Artur) Ringgenberg; and seven grandchildren. He is further survived by his siblings: Stuart (Sheila) Pointon, Linda Keaton (Dennis Bryden), Steven Pointon, Neil (Gail) Pointon, Jean (Samy) Mankarious, and Allison Burraway. Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Pearl Pointon.
A remembrance lunch is to be scheduled and held at a later date.
