Glenn P. Bodwin, age 73, of Two Rivers, died peacefully at home with his daughters at his side, Saturday night, March 11, 2023.
Glenn was born in Two Rivers on August 13, 1949 to Everett and Florence (Koehler) Bodwin. He attended St. Luke's Grade School and graduated from Washington High School with the class of 1967. He then furthered his education at Lakeshore Technical Institute where he earned a degree in marketing. On May 4, 1974 he married Carolyn A. Wellens at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Two Rivers. The couple was blessed with two daughters and 45 years of marriage. Carolyn preceded him in death October 15th, 2019.
Glenn worked in the maintenance department at Imperial Eastman/Parker Hannifin for 38 years, retiring in 2009. He was a car enthusiast all of his life. He and his brother worked on many car projects together, including their custom street rods. Glenn was an all around avid outdoorsman; he was a longtime member of the N.E.W. Great Lakes Sport Fishermen. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also loved traveling and walking the beach with his wife. Glenn had many talents and artistic abilities; he enjoyed taxidermy, making custom silver rings, creating stone sculptures and rock lamps.
Survivors include his two daughters: Lisa Bodwin (Jeff), and Sara Johnson (Albern); one granddaughter, London Johnson; two sisters: Nancy Stichert of Wyoming and Bonnie Rulseh of Illinois; four sisters-in-law: Judi Bodwin of Two Rivers, Lydwine (Bill) Joy of Arizona, Christine Wellens, and Jane Boex of Green Bay; four brothers-in-law: John (Helen) Wellens, Steve (Ruth) Wellens, Eugene Wellens, and Mike Wellens, all of Green Bay; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Florence Bodwin; his wife, Carolyn; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Christian and Rita Wellens; one brother, Bill Bodwin; and one sister-in-law, Mary Joan Wellens.
Private family services will be held, with a celebration of life gathering to be held at a later date. Burial will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers. Online condolences may be sent to the Bodwin family by visiting www.dejamartin.com.
