Harold F. Burt

Harold F. Burt, age 84 of Mishicot, died unexpectedly Friday evening, December 2, 2022 at the Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers.

Harold was born on April 11, 1938, son of Norman and Myrtle (Redeker) Burt. He graduated from Mishicot High School and has been a lifelong area resident. On June 23, 1962 he was united in marriage to Mary Ann Schroeder at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mishicot. Mary Ann preceded him in death February 27, 2018.

Harold worked for Dick Bros. Bakery in Manitowoc for many years and later for Buffalo Don's until his retirement. He enjoyed watching all of his kids participate in their various sporting events; he loved gardening; and also enjoyed camping, doing puzzles & word searches. Above all, he loved the time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his three children: Jeffrey (Debbie) Burt of Two Rivers, Mark Burt of Green Bay, and Julie Burt of Mishicot; eight grandchildren: Max LeClair, Joel (Leah) LeClair, Kyle LeClair (fiance', Brittany), Crystal (Mitch) Gomm, J.R. Burt, Ashley (Javier) Camacho, Danielle Burt, Erik (Arielle) Burt; and twelve great-grandchildren. He is further survived by two sisters-in-law, Ruth (Rick) Kocian of Francis Creek, and Darlene (Dick) Reno of Whitelaw; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Myrtle Burt; his wife, Mary Ann; brother-in-law, James Schroeder; and father-in-law & mother-in-law, Ralph and Emma Schroeder.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2022 at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mishicot. Rev. Joel Stuebs will officiate at the memorial service, with burial in the Mishicot Public Cemetery.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Saturday, December 17th from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m.
