Jacqueline J. VanLaarhoven, age 85 of Two Rivers, passed away peacefully at her home early Wednesday morning, August 2, 2023 with her family at her side.
Jackie was born in Oconto County on November 2, 1937 to Frank and Viola (Brennan) Earley. She attended school at St. Peter's in Oconto and graduated from Two Rivers Washington High School with the class of 1956. On February 15, 1958, she married Dale G. VanLaarhoven at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Two Rivers. Dale preceded her in death on December 10, 2022. Jackie enjoyed working for Paragon Electric Company in Two Rivers for 35 years until the plant closed. She often commented, "If Paragon were still open, I'd still be working".
She is survived by her children: Calle and Allen Graykowski of Manitowoc, Carrie and William Miller of Two Rivers, Peter and Wendy VanLaarhoven of Manitowoc, Paul and Jean VanLaarhoven of Ledgeview; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by one sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Judy (Arky) Engelbert of Two Rivers; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Viola Earley; her husband, Dale VanLaarhoven; father-in-law & mother-in-law, George and Phyllis VanLaarhoven; one brother, Calvin Earley; one sister & brother-in-law, Sandra (James) Hodek; two sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law: Ardis (Joseph) Romdenne, Sr., Marilyn (Conrad) Stephens; and by four nieces.
A private funeral mass was held for Jackie at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Two Rivers on Tuesday, August 8th. Burial followed in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
