Jane M. Rappe

Jane M. Rappe, age 56, resident of Two Rivers, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday evening, January 3rd, 2022 at the Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.

Jane was born in Two Rivers on September 27, 1965 to Philip and Suzanne (Schrimpf) Gospodarek. She attended Two Rivers Public Schools, graduating with the class of 1984 from Washington High School. She then furthered her education at Black Hawk College in Moline, Illinois where she earned a bachelor's degree in nursing. Jane worked as a registered nurse for many years at River's Bend Health & Rehabilitation, Kewaunee Care Center, and most recently at Allouez Parkside Village Assisted Living, where she also served as Director of Nursing.

Jane will be forever remembered as "The Life of the Party". She could make anyone laugh and was the best jokester at any gathering. Anyone who knew Jane, surely has a great story to tell. She was an avid Wisconsin Sports Nut, who loved the Bucks, Packers, and Brewers; she enjoyed traveling; loved spending many years visiting her parents in Mountain WI, and enjoyed camping with family and friends at Door County's Jellystone Park. One of Jane's biggest lifetime memories was being called up on stage with Drew Carey in 2009, as a contestant on "The Price Is Right" Show.......and walking away successful.

Survivors include her daughter, Amber Rappe (fiance, Karl) of Finland, Minnesota; Amber's father, Eric Rappe; her parents: Phil and Sue Gospodarek of Two Rivers; two brothers & sisters-in-law, Jeff and Annelle Gospodarek of Wausau, Jim and Jenny Gospodarek of Two Rivers; nieces and nephews include Trisha (Mark) Podskarbi, Tim Gospodarek, Megan (Tom) Neuman, and their daughter, Briella and Brock Gospodarek (fiance, Izzy). She is further survived by a special uncle, Tom Schrimpf of Two Rivers; other aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Marcella and Alois Gospodarek & Bernice and Herbert Schrimpf.

The family invites all relatives and friends to a Celebration of Life which will be held at Lonz's Tannery Club, 4317 Tannery Rd. Two Rivers, from 12:30 until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 8th. Private family services will be held prior to the celebration.

We will all miss the Jane that everyone knew. Her sense of humor, jokes and pranks will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
