Joan M. Lafond-Schultz

Joan M. LaFond-Schultz, age 84 of Two Rivers, passed away Thursday evening, October 20, 2022 at her residence.

Joan was born in Two Rivers on July 27, 1938 to Mark and Edna (Perlewitz) LaFond. She attended St. Luke's Catholic Grade School and was a graduate of Washington High School in Two Rivers. She then furthered her education at the Layton School of Art in Milwaukee. Joan married John Konop in 1958, and Paul Schultz in 2004.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Schultz; four sons: Mark Konop, Jeffrey Konop, Scott (Karen) Konop, and Andrew (Nicole) Konop; four grandchildren: Kara (James) Livesley, Erick Konop, Bennett Konop, Braden Konop; and three step-children: Greg Schultz, Douglas (Sherry) Schultz, and Cory (Amy) Schultz. She is further survived by one brother, James LaFond (wife, Shirley Andrews-LaFond), and one sister, Virginia (Al) Hale; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 28, 2022 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd., Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Richard Klingeisen, with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church Friday morning from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m.
