Laddie G. Frank, age 84, longtime town of Two Creeks resident, passed away Wednesday morning, December 20, 2023 at the Hamilton Care Center, Two Rivers.
Laddie was born in Kewaunee on October 11, 1939 to Laddie E. and Mildred (Kustka) Frank. He was a 1958 graduate of Mishicot High School and soon after entered the U.S. Air Force where he served four years until his honorable discharge on March 14, 1962. On August 5, 1967 he was united in marriage to Lynne A. Borgwardt at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mishicot.
Laddie worked for Manitowoc Engineering for 38 years until his retirement. He was a charter member & founder of the Two Creeks Volunteer Fire Department; 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus of Mishicot; and member of American Legion Post #538 of Carlton. Laddie and Lynne enjoyed many years traveling; he also enjoyed hunting, riding his motorcycle, and his hobbie farm.
Survivors include his wife, Lynne Frank; four children: Deb (Mark) Kaderabek of Whitelaw, Darren (Jennifer) Frank of Marshall, WI, Kevin (Tricia) Frank of Kaukauna, Kathy (Geo) Wiemers of Greenfield; family friend, Becky Siebert; and his grandchildren: Ian, Seth, Luke, and Logan Kaderabek; Madalyn, Brynn, and Bryce Frank; Mason and Dylan Frank; Josh, Jared, and Jack Wiemers; Emma and Zach Frank. He is further survived by one brother, Leonard Frank; one sister, Mary (Virgil) Ferry; brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law: Donald (Karen) Prueter, Joyce Sorenson, Diane Sharbono, Alan Borgwardt (Bob Archer), and Keith (Kathi) Borgwardt; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Kenny Frank; sister-in-law, Kay Frank; brother-in-law, Arlin Sharbono; and a niece, Bethany Sorenson.
A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Christian Raj. Military graveside rites will be accorded at the church immediately following the mass by members of American Legion Post #538 of Carlton. Burial will be held at a later date.
The family will greet relatives and friends at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Wednesday evening, January 3rd from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. A parish prayer service will conclude the evening at 7 o'clock. Visitation will continue at the church Thursday morning from 9:00 until the time of mass at 11:00 a.m.
