Lila E. Dvorak

Lila E. Dvorak, age 87, resident of The Court at Felician Village, entered eternal life Tuesday afternoon, June 28, 2022 at the Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.

Lila was born on March 23, 1935 to Rolla and Leilah (Wentker) Schwartz. She spent her childhood in Two Creeks on the family farm and was a graduate of the Class of '53 at Washington High School. On July 23, 1956, she married Delmar Dvorak. Together, the couple resided in Mishicot and enjoyed traveling until Delmar's death in 1990. Lila spent her entire working career moving through the ranks at Mirro Aluminum. In her retirement, she continued her love of world traveling and spent many winters in sunny Arizona. As a lifetime member St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Mishicot, she grew in her faith and enjoyed teaching Sunday School for many years. She was an avid reader, especially intrigued by history, known for her quick wit and calm demeanor, and enjoyed dancing and polka music.

She is survived by nieces and nephews: Karen (Tom) Schultz of Two Rivers, Kay (Alan) Rodewald of DePere, Kim (Michael) Andrastek of Manitowoc, Patty (Rick) Young of California, Kevin (Janean) Hall of Minnesota, Joseph Dvorak, Bobbie Dvorak of Shoto, Darrell (Beverly) Dvorak of Delafield, and Ann (Richard) Meissner of Mishicot; many other great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rolla and Leilah Schwartz; husband, Delmar; three sisters & five brothers-in-law: Dorothy (Kenneth) Hall, Hazel (Sidney) Blank, Margaret (Robert) Christenson, Donald Dvorak, Ralph (Caroline) Dvorak; sister-in-law, Irene (Clyde) Rau; nieces and nephews, David Dvorak, Collette Dvorak, Clyde (Sonia) Dvorak; and a special friend, William Wilke.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mishicot. Rev. Joel Stuebs will officiate, with burial at Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Manitowoc.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Tuesday morning from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m.

Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home of Mishicot is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
