Linda dearly loved her son, Adam, as well as her grandsons: Jaxson,
Hudson and Sam. She has been blessed to be included in their lives
because of their great mom, Danielle and her husband, Michael.
She leaves behind many friends. They have all been amazing and brought
such joy to her life. She also has many siblings, nieces and nephews- all
who have made a difference and have been important to her.
Linda leaves behind so many people whose lives she touched during her
career in Sheboygan, Two Rivers and Milwaukee, especially those she
cared for as well as those who became her friends.
All throughout her life Linda fought for people who were the underdogs,
because so many times in her life she was the underdog.
Linda felt so blessed to work in the medical field for 44 years. She was an
OB nurse for 22 years, a case manager for 2 years and a parish nurse for
20 years. During that time she went back to school and became a nurse
practitioner and received her degree as a family therapist.
She loved her time at Cross Lutheran Church and has made many lifelong
friends from her time there. Linda made a change and started to serve at
St. Bernadette’s, St. Catherine’s and Our Lady of Good Hope parishes. All
three parishes welcomed her with open arms. They have embraced her
personally , along with the work she did with them professionally.
Linda gave of her time to the community. She was honored to speak often
about the medical field to many high school classes and encouraged them
to think seriously about a nursing career. Linda used her nurse practitioner
skills often when volunteering at the Bread of Healing Free Clinic serving
the community.
During Linda’s life journey, she felt conflicted at times about her religion.
She was looking for a Christian community who loved her for who she was,
a sinner. Linda was a faithful member of First United in Sheboygan for
many years and at Cross Lutheran.
In September of 2022, she spoke with Fr. Greg, the priest at St.
Bernadette’s and told him she was spiritually confused. He asked how he
could help and from then on she met with several Catholic friends to
determine her next steps. In April of 2023, she joined St. Bernadette Parish
while working closely with Father Mike and her friend, Phil.
Linda was an amazing, caring individual who served others her whole life,
who is deeply loved and will be missed.
