Marcelyn (Marcy) Kirchman

Marcelyn E. Kirchman, age 92, lifetime resident of Two Rivers, passed away Friday afternoon, August 2, 2024 at Laurel Grove Assisted Living in Manitowoc.

Marcy was born in Two Rivers on November 9, 1931 to Francis and Elizabeth (Van Culligan) Lyons. She was a graduate of Washington High School, and was united in marriage to Kenneth W. Kirchman on September 26, 1953. The couple was blessed with 69 1/2 years of marriage and in their retirement years enjoyed wintering in Florida, as well as socializing at many of the area coffee shops. Ken preceded her in death on May 28, 2023.

Marcy worked for a few years as secretary to the City Manager and later worked for many years at the Two Rivers Community Hospital as a Medical Records Transcriptionist until her retirement.  Marcy enjoyed spending time in her gardens and loved playing bridge.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Melanie Kirchman of Green Bay; one daughter, Paula Kirchman of Two Rivers; two grandchildren: Elizabeth and Cody Kirchman; along with several nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Mark Lyons and Francis Lyons, Jr.
