Margaret "Peggy" Dewey

Margaret A. "Peggy" Dewey, age 67 of Two Rivers, died peacefully at her residence surrounded by family Wednesday morning, March 1, 2023, after a hard fought battle with cancer.

Peggy was born in Two Rivers on January 26, 1956 to Earl and Pearl (Plansky) Mathiesen. She graduated from Washington High School with the class of 1974. On October 19, 1979, she married Michael Dewey at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Two Rivers. Peggy was employed at the Metal Ware Corp. for over 20 years. She enjoyed making crafts, camping, spending time with her family and pets, and especially enjoyed attending all of her grandkids events.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Michael; three sons: Nicholas (Alisha) Dewey, Brandon Dewey, and Eric (Erica) Dewey, all of Two Rivers; six grandchildren, Adalyn, Bradey, Alyvia, Aleigha, Elias, and Liam; two sisters: Patricia (Joel) Engelbrecht of Manitowoc, and Lori (Peter) Dassey of Two Rivers; two brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law: Richard (Joan) Dewey of Manitowoc, Robert (Sharon) Dewey of Manitowoc, Diane Hrdina of New Jersey, and Rose Denis of Green Bay; special friends, Alice and Dale Weina, and Betty and John Kulpa; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Pearl Mathiesen; her mother-in-law, Anna Dewey; three sisters-in-law, Shirley (Robert) Gauthier, Sue (Fred) Bessler, Mary Rose Biese; and one brother-in-law, Arthur Denis.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2023 at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th Street, Two Rivers.

The family will greet friends & relatives at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Friday March 10th from 11:00 until 1:00 p.m.
