Maria L. "Lola" Longoria

Maria L. "Lola" Longoria, age 57 of Two Rivers, passed away peacefully at her residence Sunday morning, December 22, 2024 with family at her side.

Maria was born in Donna, Texas on March 5, 1967 to Maria D. Alfaro and the late Catarino R. Alfaro. She graduated high school in Donna, Texas, then furthered her education at the Texas State Technical University. It was there she met her future husband, Eduardo Longoria. They were united in marriage on March 19, 1994 in Texas. After moving to Two Rivers, WI she was employed with the Metal Ware Corp. for many years. Maria and Eddie did not have any children together, but Maria will be remembered as "mother" to her many nieces & nephews. She always enjoyed the many family gatherings and get-togethers, baking for the family, and loved bringing the desserts! Maria was "The Biggest" Die-Hard Fan of the Dallas Cowboys. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

Survivors include her husband, Eddie; her mother, Maria Alfaro; her siblings: Martha (Paulo) Moreno, Nora Rios, Reno (Nancy) Alfaro, Juan (Terry) Alfaro, Blanca Alfaro, Susan (Rene) Mora, Bubba (Martina) Alfaro, Lupe (Edgar) Araiza, Marcos (Anita) Alfaro, Ruth (Julio) Bautista; her father-in-law, Eliverio Longoria; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Catarino Alfaro; her mother-in-law, Hortencia Longoria; and a sister, Maria Elsa Pena.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 30, 2024 at Hope Community Church, 4408 County Rd. B, Manitowoc. Kirk Pingel will preside at the service. Cremation has taken place.

The family will greet friends and relatives at Hope Community Church, Monday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
