Marilyn Zich

Marilyn M. Zich, age 73, longtime Two Rivers resident, currently residing in Suamico, passed away Friday afternoon, December 30, 2022 at Bay Harbor Assisted Living in Suamico, following a year long battle with cancer.

Marilyn was born in Manitowoc on December 17, 1949 to Lester J. and Gertrude M. (Grumann) Zich. She graduated High School from Silver Lake in Manitowoc then earned her bachelor's degree in Humanism & Cultural Change from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and later received a certificate in Food Analysis & Technology in Minneapolis, MN. Marilyn was employed at Fort Howard Paper Company in Green Bay for many years, and also worked at the Maritime Museum in Manitowoc. She was a longtime member of Holy Redeemer/St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Two Rivers and former member of the Two Rivers Optimist Club. She was an active volunteer for many years at the Two Rivers Historical Society and also at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church.

She will be sadly missed by her cousin and best friend, Gail Hodeck of Green Bay; two brothers & a sister, Charles (Judy) Zich of Kaukauna, Ellen (Brian) Mulvey of Marlborough, Mass., and John (Stephanie) Zich of Albuquerque, N.M.; nieces, nephews, other cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Gertrude Zich.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th Street, Two Rivers, with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

The family will greet friends & relatives at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Wednesday morning, March 1st from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m.
