Marion Domnitz

Marion Domnitz, age 82, longtime resident of Two Rivers, passed away early Tuesday morning, November 29, 2022 after a lengthy illness at the Hamilton Care Center in Two Rivers.

Marion was born January 28, 1940 to Joseph and Helen (Pries) Kaiser. She graduated with the class of 1957 from Kewaunee High School. On June 19, 1965 she married Sheldon "Shelly" Domnitz in Tisch Mills. Together, the couple owned & operated Domnitz Flowers in Two Rivers from 1965 until retiring July 1, 2004. Shelly preceded her in death on January 13, 2011. Marion and Shelly enjoyed spending time in the summers at Chaudoirs Dock in Door County; traveling; and an occasional trip to the casino. Marion also enjoyed reading, crocheting, and time spent with her family.

Survivors include her two sons & daughters-in-law: Troy and Vicki Domnitz of Two Rivers, and their children: Tyler Domnitz, Jordon (Samantha) Denfeld, Alisa Denfeld (daughter, Aniyah); Scott and Becky Domnitz of Two Rivers, and their children: Courtney (Gabriel) Butler, and Nic Domnitz; along with two great-grandchildren: Bailey and Bradley Butler. She is further survived by two sisters: Diane (Jim) Dorner of Luxemburg, Doris Dotson of Green Bay, and one brother, Jerry Kaiser of Tisch Mills; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Helen Kaiser; her husband, Shelly; one brother, Charles (Doris) Kaiser; one sister, Laverne (Donny) Konop; sister-in-law, Alice (Clarence) Duvall; and father-in-law & mother-in-law, Harry and Eva Domnitz.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 5, 2022 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd., Two Rivers. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Dave Pleier, with burial to follow in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church Monday morning from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. There will be no Sunday evening visitation.
