Mark Batty

Mark A. Batty, 67, It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mark, who left us peacefully on April 10, 2025. Born on July 21, 1957, to the late John and June (Zaversnik) Batty, Mark lived a life filled with simple joys and cherished moments, always bringing a smile to those around him.

Mark dedicated much of his life to his work as a janitor, where he took immense pride in ensuring that spaces were clean and welcoming. Outside of work, Mark had a zest for life. He was an avid bowler, often found at the bowling alley sharing laughs and competing with friends. Another pastime that he loved was to go dancing.

Mark is survived by his sisters, Sandra (Glenn) Corey and Karen Gilbo (Batty); as well as by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and June Batty; and a brother-in-law, Calvin Gilbo, Jr.
