Mark Anthony Kloss, 67, 1615 Emmet Street Two Rivers, WI, passed away April 2, 2022, with his son, Jason, grandson, Colton, friend, Rebecca Owens, and niece, Kristen, at his side after a 4 year battle with liver cancer.
Mark was born to John and Marie (Charlier) Kloss July 28, 1954 in Two Rivers, WI. He graduated with the class of 1974 from Washington High School. Mark had several jobs throughout his life including laying flooring for WG&R for many years and at Fleet Farm in Manitowoc. Mark had a great passion for hunting and fishing, which he proudly passed on to his son, Jason and grandson, Colton. His extensive love of fishing even earned him the nickname “Fish Head” with his family and close friends. He retired to Goodman, WI, where he lived freely with wildlife and spent his time fishing and exploring. He was extremely talented at carving walking sticks from unique branches he picked up while walking many miles through the Northwoods.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents: John and Marie Kloss, his brother-in-laws: Patrick Thorne and Jesse Vazquez, and many aunts and uncles.
Mark is survived by his son: Jason, his grandson: Colton, special friend: Rebecca Owens, special niece and goddaughter: Kristen (Thorne) Graczyk, friend: Steve Graczyk, and special great nephew: Matt.
He is further survived by his sister: Connie Thorne and her children, Ty (Sue) Thorne, their children, Stephani (Travis) Herman and their children, Ciara, Owen and Eli, Zach (Lauren) Thorne, Amy Arpin and her son, Elijah Barke, Dr. Graham Dondlinger and his daughter, Sydny, Nick Dondlinger and his daughters, Nora and Marin; Wade (Cori) Thorne and his son, Josh (Rose) Frank and their children, Maggie, Olivia, Natalie, and Parker; Ted (Jane) Thorne and their son, Kyle; Wendy (John) Orlopp and their sons, Easton and Tannor; Kristen (Steve) Graczyk and their son, Matthew; Tim (Lisa) Thorne and their children, Taya, Derek and Lance; and Vickie Thorne, his brother: Steven (Ruth) Kloss and their daughter, Abigail (Eduardo) Aycardi, his sister: Mary Vasquez and her children, Janie, Lois, and Tony and his children, Sabrina and Gabriel, his sister: Kathryn (Andy) Creeden and her son, Ian (Shannon) McMillan and his daughters, Fallyn and Fione. Mark is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers, WI is assisting the family. Cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral services per Mark’s final wishes.
Mark wishes to express a special thank you, “I don’t know what I would have done without Steve Graczyk, Kris (my goddaughter and special niece) and Matt opening their home to me during my journey. I also want to thank my son Jason, grandson Colton, and my special friend and former wife Becky Owens for taking me into your home for my final weeks of life. I am grateful and blessed for ALL you have done for me. I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH AND APPRECIATE EVERYTHING YOU HAVE DONE FOR ME.”
