Mary Anne "Marie" Holtz

Mary Anne “Marie” Holtz, age 87, of Two Rivers, entered eternal life Wednesday morning, July 27, 2022, at the Manitowoc Health & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.
Mary Anne was born on June 10, 1935, in Montpilier, a daughter of the late Wencil and Anna (Pivonka) Kugel. She graduated from Luxemburg High School. On November 23, 1957, she married Leonard A. Holtz at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Pilsen, he preceded her in death on March 4, 2013. Mary Anne was employed at Hamiltons and for many years at Paragon. She loved to craft, make jewelry, especially earrings, and had the gift to find a solution to any situation she encountered. She enjoyed talking and laughing with people, watching TV and was an active member at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, where she sang in the “Coming Home” Choir.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Deborah and Frank Svacina of Manitowoc and Cheryl and Robert McGowan of Crosby, Texas; three grandchildren: Kyle Chivers, Ashley (Brandon) Shedal and Michael Kaznowski, Jr.; and two great grandchildren: Cohen Shedal and Daela Shedal; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her siblings: Alvin Kugel, John Kugel, Louis Kugel, Evelyn Tielens and Theresa Kugel.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd., Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian will be the Rev. Dave Pleier with entombment in Calvary Chapel Mausoleum, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10:30 a..m. There will be no Friday evening visitation.

Mary Anne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be greatly missed.
