Michael A. Dunn, age 69, resident of Mukwonago, WI, formerly of Manitowoc, passed away peacefully at his residence Wednesday morning, March 6, 2024.

Michael was born in North Carolina on April 2nd, 1954 to Bernard J. and Sophia (Jimos) Dunn. He was a 1973 graduate of Washington High School in Two Rivers, then entered the United States Air Force where he served his country until 1980. While in the military Mike also attended chef school. After his discharge from the military, Mike worked for several years as a chef at the Colonial Inn and the Manitowoc Elks Club. On July 27, 1974 he was united in marriage to Christine DeBauche at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Two Rivers. Mike and Chris owned & operated Fieldcrest Manor in Manitowoc for 30 years until their retirement.

Mike loved the outdoors; enjoying hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, his cabin up in Mountain, WI, and also enjoyed dining out. He was a life-member of West Shore Sportsman's Club. Mike was a very generous person, and several years ago purchased the "Survive Alive Trailer" for the Manitowoc Fire Department. The trailer is still used today for training children fire safety.

He is survived by his wife, Christine; one son & daughter-in-law, Jeffrey (Jill) Dunn of Muskego; two grandchildren: Jacob and Jocelyn; brother, Bernard J. Dunn of Amsterdam; and one sister, Debra Dunn of Two Rivers. He is further survived by brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law: Dale DeBauche, Julie DeBauche, William DeBauche, Al (Judy) DeBauche, Lyle DeBauche, Lisa (Kris) Stoer; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Sophia Dunn; one sister, Jennifer Dunn; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Harold and Victoria DeBauche; and two sisters-in-law: Cindy DeBauche and Pat DeBauche.

A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2024 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd., Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Dave Pleier. Military graveside honors will be held at the church immediately following the service by members of American Legion Post #165 and VFW Post #1248 of Two Rivers. Burial of his cremated remains will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church Monday morning, March 18th from 9:00 until 10:45 a.m.
