Nancy A. Wegner

Nancy A. Wegner, age 62, resident of Two Rivers, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, July 16, 2023.

Nancy was born in Two Rivers on August 6, 1960 to Joseph and Martha (Tolksdorf) Rehak. She attended school in Mishicot and was a 1978 graduate of Mishicot High School. On August 13, 1988 she married Steven H. Wegner at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Two Rivers. The couple was blessed with two sons and thirty-four years of marriage.

Nancy worked for Paragon Electric of Two Rivers from 1978 until it's closing, and most recently enjoyed working as a caregiver at Maritime Gardens Assisted Living in Manitowoc. Nancy enjoyed reading books, shopping, and collecting - especially Teddy Bears, and loved the hallmark channel & anything "hallmark". Above all, Nancy cherished the time with her family; her husband, her sons, and her beloved granddaughter, Saoirse. She was also a longtime, faithful member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Two Rivers.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Steven; two sons: Justin Wegner of Champaign, IL, Matthew Wegner of Milwaukee; and one granddaughter, Saoirse Wegner. She is further survived by her mother-in-law, Mary Ann Wegner of Two Rivers; one sister & brother-in-law, Elizabeth (Robert) Dunn of Manitowoc; brother-in-law, Allan Wegner of Two Rivers; and sister-in-law, Vicki (Kendall) Melius of Manitowoc; one niece, four nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Martha Rehak; her father-in-law, Harvey Wegner; and a step-sister, Marty Gessert.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 21, 2023 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3607 45th Street, Two Rivers. Rev. David Arndt will officiate at the service, with burial to follow in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. John's Lutheran Church, Friday morning from 9:00 until 10:45 a.m. There will be no Thursday evening visitation.
