Patricia K. Hanson

Patricia K. Hanson, age 87, a longtime Two Rivers resident, died at Pine Haven Christian Communities in Sheboygan Falls on Saturday, December 16.
Patricia was born on May 26, 1936, in Oshkosh, daughter of the late Jess and Inez Garland.  On July 26, 1958, she married Paul Hanson in Fond du Lac.  Patricia graduated from Marion College in 1958 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology.  She worked for many years in the lab at Memorial Hospital in Manitowoc and later, Holy Family Memorial Medical Center.  Patricia enjoyed sewing, celebrating her Irish heritage, and traveling the world with her husband, Paul.
Survivors include her five children:  John (Karen) Hanson of Kaukauna, Kathy (Rick) Scherer of Appleton, Debby Hanson of Green Bay, Jean (Mark) Zemke of Sheboygan and Beth (Chad) Carrow of Painesville, Ohio; eight grandchildren; John Hanson, Alisha (Austin) Bisbee, Ryan (Shelly) Hanson, Chris (Marianne) Goettig, Andy Goettig, Becky Scherer, Tryston Carrow and Samatha Carrow; fourteen great-grand children; sister-in-law: Sally Rieder of Fond du Lac; Keith (Debbie) Garland, Green Bay, Vickie Gallagher, Green Bay, Judy (Bob) McCabe (Denmark) and Gloria Ott (Oshkosh); along with other relatives and friends.
Patricia was recently preceded in death by her husband, Paul, on November 17, 2023.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd., Two Rivers.  Officiating the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Dave Pleier with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church on Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.  There will be no Wednesday evening visitation.
The memorial service will be live streamed on the St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church website or St. Peter the Fisherman Facebook page.
