Patrick John McGrath, affectionately known to friends and acquaintances as "Mugsy", passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 16th, 2025 at the Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center, after a courageous three-year battle with dementia. He was 78.

Pat was born in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin, on February 8th, 1947 to John Douglas and Barbara Ann (Burger) McGrath. He attended St. Mary Springs Academy his freshman and sophomore years, and graduated from Fond du Lac’s L.P. Goodrich High School in 1965. Pat’s early career spanned working as a young man in radio following in his fathers footsteps. Subsequently, he dedicated the next three and a half decades to restaurant management, culminating in his eight-year tenure as food supervisor at Dodge County Correctional Facility, where he retired in 2009.

He is survived by his three children: Carla (Dean) Witkowski, Kieran (Katherine) McGrath, and Erinn (Heidi) McGrath; his four grandchildren, Evan (Raven) Witkowski, Keira McGrath, Isla McGrath, and Rylyn McGrath; his siblings, Mary (Joe) Letourneau, Kevin (Judy) McGrath, Maureen (Steve) Klotz, Brian McGrath (Stephen Brooks), and Kerry (Jennifer) McGrath; and a special friend, Jane Schad; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, and great nephews.
