Patrick G. Reetz

Patrick G. Reetz, age 45, resident of New Franken, passed away at his home on Sunday, November 28, 2021.

Patrick was born in Manitowoc on September 28, 1976 to Daniel and Jean (Sheehy) Reetz. He graduated from St. Mary's Catholic Grade School in Reedsville and attended Reedsville High School. Pat worked for several years with LaLonde Construction of Milwaukee, and also his company, "Team Performance" under which he previously owned & operated Pat's Restaurant on Washington Street in Green Bay. He also owned & operated a Diabetic Test Strip business until his passing. Pat always loved to be in the company of family & friends telling stories and talking for hours-on-end. He enjoyed traveling, some of his favorite places being Utah, Oregon, and Florida; and also enjoyed hiking, camping, and those special times he was able to spend with his son. Patrick loved playing his guitar; attending concerts with his sister, Nicole; and spending time with his nephews, Liam and Landon. He treasured the time spent with his Dad as they attended many classic car swap meets together, picking up classic car parts. He most recently enjoyed spending time restoring his Dad's "69" Chevelle SS. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include one son, Victor (Donavan) LaPere, of Manitowoc; his parents, Daniel and Jean Reetz of rural Wayside; two brothers and two sisters: Jodi Reetz of Wayside, Ryan Reetz of Milwaukee, Shane Reetz (Jessica) of Westfield, and Nicole Reetz of Sun Prairie. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. Patrick was preceded in death by one sister, Tara Marie Reetz; and grandparents: Gordon and Irene Sheehy, Jerry and Leona (Sue) Reetz.

A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Tom Pomeroy, with burial of his cremated remains to take place at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Maple Grove at a later date.

The family will greet friends and relatives at Holy Family Catholic Church, Saturday morning from 9:00 until 10:45 a.m. There will be no Friday evening visitation.
