Paul E. Ruthmansdorfer

Paul E. Ruthmansdorfer, age 87, lifelong resident of Two Rivers, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 31, 2024 after a brief illness at the Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.

Paul was born in Two Rivers on March 7, 1937 to Aloysius and Frances (Prucha) Ruthmansdorfer. He attended St. Luke's Catholic Grade School and graduated from Washington High School with the class of 1955. Paul served his country for two years (1960-62) as a member of the U.S. Army, and was united in marriage to Aimee Jo Kreisa on October 19, 1963 at St. Luke's Catholic Church, Two Rivers. The couple was blessed with two children and sixty years of marriage.

Paul worked as a draftsman at Hamilton Industries for many years; he also worked as a car salesman at the Pontiac Garage; and as a storage/parts manager at Mirro Aluminum Corp. He was a very active member of St. Joe's Club in Two Rivers and the TRCCS Athletic Club. He officiated high school sports for many years; and enjoyed golfing, reading, and remodeling projects.

He is survived by his wife, Aimee Jo; two children: Tina Schramm (fiance, Steve Rosik) of Two Rivers, and Guy (Tammy) Ruthmansdorfer of DePere; his four grandchildren: Kate and Meg Ruthmansdorfer, Cole and Genna Schramm. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Aloysius and Frances Ruthmansdorfer; his sister & brother-in-law, Kathleen (Daniel) Brouchoud; and his father-in-law & mother-in-law, Evan and Gen Kreisa.
