Randall E. Miske

Randall E. Miske, age 72, town of Mishicot resident, died peacefully Sunday morning, May 21, 2023 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in Manitowoc, with his loving wife at his side.

Randy was born in Sheboygan on July 17, 1950 to Walter and Carol (Schuster) Miske. He attended a rural grade school and graduated from Mishicot High School with the class of 1968. He then furthered his education at Lakeshore Technical College where he earned associate degrees in welding and auto mechanics. Randy served with the U.S. Army for 2 years, followed by another 20 years of active duty with the Army Reserves.

Randy worked as a welder and auto mechanic his entire life. He was employed as a diesel mechanic with the Manitowoc County Highway Department, and as a welder with Consumer Steel of Manitowoc, and retired from Heavy Metal Fabrication in Manitowoc. Randy married the former Linda M. Vlasak on January 14, 1999 in Manitowoc. The couple enjoyed traveling; attending NASCAR races; and an occasional trip to the casino. Randy was active with the Boy Scouts of America for many years and served as a former Scout Leader. He was an avid Packer Fan; enjoyed gardening; and working on tractors, especially repairing antique John Deere tractors. He was a longtime member of the local tractor club, "F.A.A.R.M." (Farmers All About Rustic Machinery).

Survivors include his wife, Linda Miske; two sons from his previous marriage: Andrew (Angie) Miske of Brookfield, WI, Michael Miske of Sun Prairie; two step-daughters: Kimberly Patek (special friend, Craig) of DePere, Michelle Neuser (special friend, Bill) of Two Rivers; and two grandchildren: Lilie and Tyler. He is further survived by his brothers & sisters: Jerry (Charlene) Miske of Francis Creek, Patricia Miske of Two Rivers, Marjorie (Tom) Miske-McAffee of Memphis, Tennessee, Myron (Patty) Miske of Newfields, New Hampshire, and Sally Miske of Washington D.C.; one brother-in-law, John (Judith) Vlasak of Manitowoc; one sister-in-law, Penny (Jeff) Birkholz of Mishicot; nieces, nephews, and many cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Carol Miske; and his father-in-law & mother-in-law, Wencil and Florence Vlasak.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 26, 2023 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 3234 Mishicot Rd. in Two Rivers. Pastor Austin Meier will officiate at the service, with military graveside honors immediately following the service at church by members of VFW Post #7753 of Mishicot. Entombment will take place at Knollwood Mausoleum, Hwy. 310, Manitowoc.

The family will greet relatives and friends at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Friday morning from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. There will be no Thursday evening visitation.
