Rueben C. "Rube" Peserik

Rueben C. “Rube” Peserik, age 83, of Two Rivers, died unexpectedly, Friday morning, January 21, 2022, at home.
Rueben was born on June 20, 1938, in Kewaunee, a son of the late Anton and Lucille (Wells)
Peserik. On June 21, 1958, he married Joyce Jindra at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. Rube was a foreman at Mirro Co. for many years, retiring in 2002. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed fishing, camping, spending time with his family and was a huge sports fan. He was a great story and joke teller and also enjoyed karaoke.
Survivors include his wife of over 60 years: Joyce Peserik; his children: Pam and Matt Gerroll, Brian and Debbie Peserik and Cindy and Perry Hibbard, all of Two Rivers; his grandchildren: Cassie (Tony), Ashley (special friend, Paul), Brett, Shannon (Uriah), Brady (Katie), Payton (Kyra) and Casey (special friend, McKenna); and his great grandchildren: Max, JuJu, Lincoln, Evie, Sawyer, Lola and Hoyt; along with other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3607 45th St., Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Stephen Kruschel.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. There will be no Wednesday evening visitation.
