Russ Sanderson

Russell D. Sanderson, age 70 of Two Rivers, passed away Friday morning, November 3, 2023 at the Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers.

Russell was born in Michigan on January 4, 1953 to Russell and Rosaline (Pavlat) Sanderson. After graduating high school and moving to Wisconsin, Russ worked for a short time with Sonnenburg Builders of Manitowoc, later becoming self-employed in his own business, Sanderson Home Improvements.

Russell enjoyed hunting, occasional trips to the casino, and time spent with his nieces, nephews, and the Chad Luebke family.

He is survived by his longtime soulmate, Diane Johnson of Two Rivers; his brothers and sisters: Karen (Todd) Albone, Steven (Jamie) Sanderson, and Ronald (Cindy) Sanderson, all of Sault St. Marie, Michigan; and Cathy (Tim) Vanderleest of Sturgeon Bay, WI. He is further survived by thirteen nieces & nephews, thirteen great-nieces & nephews, and longtime friends, Chad and Nicole Luebke & their daughters, Kiana and Marisa. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Rosaline Sanderson; and one nephew, Adam.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no funeral services held.
