Sandra "Sandy" L. Denfeld

Sandra L. “Sandy” Denfeld, age 75, of Two Rivers, died Saturday morning, January 8, 2022, at home.
Sandy was born on January 14, 1946, in Sheboygan, a daughter of the late Arno and Lydia (Schneider) Dehne. She graduated from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1964. On October 3, 1964, she married Wayne Denfeld at Salem Ebenezer Reformed Church in Newton. Sandy enjoyed spending time with family and friends the most. She especially enjoyed spending time outside, fishing, tending to her yard as well as watching & feeding the wildlife in her backyard.

Survivors include her husband: Wayne Denfeld of Two Rivers; two daughters and a son-in-law: Debi Schaefer of Manitowoc and Chris and Fritz Giesler of Two Rivers; grandchildren: Frederick “Jamie” (Lindsey) Krause, Trevor (Tiffany) Giesler, Mariah (Micheal) Walker and Bryce Schaefer; and her great grandchildren: Braxton, Melanie, Adalynn and Arabella. She is further survived by her brother and sister-in-law: Gary and Cathy Dehne; sister and brother-in-law: Connie and Dennis Sieracki; and in-laws: Nancy Denfeld, Julie Denfeld, Judy Sokol, Karen Denfeld, Sharen Wilson and Gerri Dehne; Craig Schaefer; and her international grandkids: Sherman, Fred, Jin, Leo, Sho, Giuseppe, Nacho and Regina; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers: Arno, Edward and Richard; great grandson: Travis; brothers-in-law: Dale and Glenn Denfeld and sister-in-law: Veronica Dehne.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 14, 2022, at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3607 45th St., Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. David Arndt with burial in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Hwy. 310, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Friday afternoon from 12:00 Noon until 1:45 p.m. There will be no Thursday evening visitation.
Memorials in Sandy’s name may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital or Best Friends Utah.
