Sharlene Kasper

Sharlene S. Kasper, 84, passed away in Manitowoc, WI on April 10, 2025. A beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to many, she will be missed by one and all. Born on November 29, 1940, in Two Rivers, WI, to the late Julius and Marie (Steeber) Filliez.

Sharlene worked diligently as a factory worker in the housewares industry for Mirro, but her true passions lay in her own kitchen and garden. She was known for her delicious meals and her green thumb. Sharlene found joy in sharing her time, volunteering at St. Peter the Fisherman Church and St. Peter's Pantry, where she made a lasting impact on the lives of those in need.

Sharlene is survived by her children, Kim Pelisek, Kurt (Sandy) Pelisek, and Sonja King; grandchildren, Cory (Christa) Pelisek, Abby Pelisek, Grayson Matteson, and Cheynne Matteson; great-grandchildren, Riley and Lauren; brothers and sisters, Chuck Filliez, Lee (Deb) Filliez, Julia Snyder and Karen (Art) Bangart; and daughter-in-law, Deb Pelisek.

She was preceded in death by her son, Bob Pelisek; parents, Julius and Marie Filliez; brothers and sisters, Richard (Priscilla) Filliez, Ardis (Manual) Rosado, Trudy (Jerry) Dhein; brother-in-law, Steven Snyder; and nephews, Jason Snyder and Troy Bangart.

A celebration of Sharlene's life will take place on April 23, 2025. Friends and family are invited to gather at Deja & Martin for a visitation will take place from 4:00-6:00 PM, The funeral service will follow at 6:00 PM, with Fr. Dave Plier officiating.
