Shirley A. Duval

Shirley A. Duval, age 89 of Two Rivers, died peacefully Saturday, April 29, 2023 at her residence.

Shirley was born in Laona, WI on November 2, 1933 to Frank and Mary (Brunette) Jobelius. She attended grade school in Newald, WI and was a graduate of Laona High School. On June 18, 1955, she married Daniel W. Duval at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on November 2, 2014.

Shirley worked for a short time at the Aluminum Goods, and over the years babysat for many area kids out of her home. She took great pride in caring for her yard; enjoyed baking and doing word search puzzles. She also enjoyed watching TV, and would often watch sporting events, especially the Brewers & Packers.

She is survived by her four children: Mary (Bill) Hall, Daniel (Elizabeth) Duval, David (Kumi) Duval, and Becky Strohm; ten grandchildren: Jedidiah, Jared, Jaekob, Jordan, Stephanie, Sarah, Nastassia, Daniel, Patience, and Jasmine; and ten great-grandchildren: Addison, Nolan, Apollo, Aliviah, Kamryn, Sylas, Scarlett, Salem, Rowen, and Ryker. She is further survived by two brothers-in-law & two sisters-in-law: Dale Schultz, Allan Duval (Don Kuchenbecker), Carol Schmitt, and Sharon Jobelius; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Jobelius; her husband, Daniel Duval; sisters: Audrey, Fern, Alberta, Frankie, and Jackie; and her brothers: Warren, Gregory, Pete, and Chet.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 12, 2023 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd., Two Rivers. Rev. Richard Klingeisen will officiate at the memorial mass, assisted by Deacon Paul Gleichner. Burial will take place in Knollwood Memorial Park, Hwy. 310, Manitowoc.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Friday, May 12th from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
